A magnitude of 8.9 Earthquake that struck off the northeastern shore of Japan last March 11, 2011 was one of the biggest in the history! 5th in the ranking since the 1900s. Hundreds of lives were lost.
Cars and trucks were tossed around like toys. Houses were torn away from the ground.
When i was watching the news on CNN,
my daughter Ayen asked me, " Mom, is that from the movie we just saw last night?" .. she was pertaining to the movie 2012.
I told her, " NO, dear. Sadly, it is the real thing." and she just sat down beside me.
